In December, a fairytale hike to Piatra Dragoslavelor awaits you!

Together we will discover the beauty of nature in a perfect experience for mountain and socializing lovers.

Our route takes us through quiet forests, hidden glades and leads us to Vartoapele Peak (1434 m) , where impressive views of the Piatra Craiului, Iezer-Papusa and Bucegi Mountains await us . Each step will bring us closer to the peace and beauty of the mountain, and in the end, we return with unforgettable memories and new friends.

ROUTE

On Saturday morning we set off from Bucharest on the Targoviste – Stoenesti – Dragoslavele route. 

On the way we socialize, meet or meet up with those who have gone with Let’s socialize before. The guide helps us with information about equipment and the route.

We arrive at the starting point and full of energy we enter the route that will take us to Piatra Dragoslavelor . We will have a fairytale hike. We follow the blue triangle marking and begin a slight climb on a forest road. The route takes us to a clearing and then follows a fork. From here we continue forward towards Stana Fundul lui Neag for approx. 2 hours to Saua Vartoapele.

All the while we take photos and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

We turn right and climb Piatra Dragoslavelor where the highest point of our route is located, Vartoapele Peak (1434 m) . Here we enjoy the magnificent view that is shown in front of us. We can see the Dragoslavele commune and the Rucar commune, Piatra Craiului, Iezer-Papusa but also other peaks of the Leaota Massif. If the visibility is good we can admire the Bucegi and even the relay on Vf. Costila.

After the lunch break at the top where we recharged our batteries, we begin the descent. We continue on the ridge and then through the forest on the blue triangle. We pass through the Vartoapele Saddle and the Prislop Saddle. We continue on the forest road and the last part of the road we will cover among the mountain houses to the village of Dragoslavele.

Here we board the bus and share the most beautiful impressions until we arrive in Bucharest around 8:30 PM.

We return in the direction of Dragoslavele – Stoenesti – Targoviste – Bucharest .
