Situated at an altitude of 1720m, in the heart of the Malaiesti Valley, this is considered the most beautiful valley in Bucegi. Guarded by the impressive ridges of Bucsoi and Padinia Crucii, the chalet offers dreamlike landscapes and a unique experience for a mountain hike. ROUTE

Saturday morning we set off for the Malaiesti Chalet on   the Bucharest –  Ploiesti –  Paraul Rece  –   Rasnov route , arriving at our destination around 10 a.m. The bus drops us off at the entrance to the Glajaria Valley.

From here, we start on a forest road on a gentle climb for about an hour to the entrance to the trail. We make a short stop for a snack, then cross the stream on a wooden bridge, and then climb steeply up a slope for a few minutes.

We dive into the dense forest for half an hour, after which we climb steadily for an hour to the first viewpoint over Rasnov . The slope is then lower and the road takes us through a clearing with a wonderful view of Bucsoi , after which we walk through the forest again for 1h 30min.

Arriving in Malaiesti, we stop to have lunch and admire the scenery.

With fresh strength, we prepare for the descent on the route to Glajarie, following the blue band. We will discover a completely new landscape as we venture through ravines, valleys, rocky passages and other natural wonders. We approach the same route on the way back, which we cover in approximately 3 hours.

Loaded with energy and good mood, we leave for Bucharest on the Rasnov – Paraul Rece – Ploiesti route. We arrive around 9:30 PM.
